Bluetooh Print Adapater. The Bluetooth-enabled driver is built-in under Mac OS X 10.4. I'm using the HP Mobile Printing driver under Windows XP. One drawback so far, it's big. Slow Tiger Kernel As an alternative to the Cisco VPN client, we've been trying to get VPN Tracker to work on Vicki's powerbook. After a few calls to the IT department, we all decided that it would be best to talk to Equinux directly. We called them yesterday morning and were told without uncertainty that the Mac OS X 10.4 kernel is too slow to handle most VPN protocols. Apparently Apple has been made aware of the problem for a while now, and they are working on it. That would explain why Cisco was not able to get a new driver out in time for the Tiger release. Tiger Install Error I just tried to install Tiger on my iMacDV. Didn't work. Gave me some kind of generic error. I really don't have time to look into it. I guess we'll try to install it on Vik's powerbook and see how it goes.

I'm implemented human validation in my guestbook using JCaptcha. I was getting tired of spam.

It was pretty straight forward, especially after reading this 5 minutes tutorial.

We're still in negotiations over minor items that were found during the new condo inspection. Everything is moving along though.

Mutual Agreement Thanks to fax machines and cellphones we are now in a signed mutual agreement with the seller. Assuming that no major problems are found during the forthcoming professional inspection, we will be the proud owners of a new condo in 7 days. Yay Us! [@168]
Real Estate Sorry for the very late linkblog update today. What an hectic day… We met with our Real Estate Agents yesterday afternoon, and spent the rest of the evening sifting through listings. Early this morning our agents arranged for us to visit a couple condos we were potentially interested in. The first one, a two bedrooms located in a gated community in Everett was indeed of interest. The second, in SeaTac, wasn't. Right after lunch we decided to make an offer. We just heard back from our agent with a counter offer. The fun begins!

Caught! The Bellevue police has arrested two kids they think are responsible for the recent arson spree. They both live in the apartment complex aside from us.
