Erik has over 30 years of professional experience in hardware and software development. Erik's professional career began in 1984 managing Apple's international localization efforts.
Over the years, Erik has gained extensive knowledge in software development for Windows, Macintosh, UNIX, most Mobile Platforms and, of course, the Web and the Internet. He has designed and engineered custom and commercial software solutions for numerous companies such as Group Health Cooperative, Hewlett-Packard, JPL, Johnson Matthey Electronics, KinderCare Learning Centers, Lockheed, Microsoft, The Sharper Image and Pacific Bell.
Erik is also responsible for the development success of the popular web data middleware, Lasso. At Blue World, Erik held the position of Director of Technology where he was responsible for the entire product life cycle. Erik is uniquely experienced in the development of cross platform database-driven commercial web applications.
At Imacination, Erik spent the better part of a year creating and developing the jTalk E-Business Platform. An enterprise-level, yet intuitive, tool used for building dynamic and interactive web applications, such as the Imacination E-Commerce Portal.
For 7 years, Erik maintained one of the web's first and most popular technology-oriented Linkblog. During that time he also authored a weekly syndicated column, known as Erik's Pulse.
Erik is currently lending technical leadership to various privately owned companies.
