Collateral Damage
We saw it over the weekend and both liked it.
I was wondering on Arnie's site and found some of his t-shirts for sale. Maximum size, X-Large. What's the underlined message? Buy stuff the man himself could not actually wear?
Well, at least, it is all for a good cause.
Too bad they won't be selling it anytime soon. I'd be interested in something like it.
Médaille d'Or
Congrats to Kelly for winning our first gold medal, that 720 at the end of her run got me stoked too. Only reporters would ask a French person how to pronounce a word in German.
NBC's coverage of the Olympics sucks. The coverage is minimal but they still manage to repeat the same events over and over. Costas seriously gets on my nerves too. We end up watching CBC instead. Did you know that the we actually have a Curling team?
Apparently Salt Lake City is too cold for the Dutch athletes. Now, that's funny!
Mis-management is an art a lot of people excel in. No degrees required.

The diet is working. I've already lost a little weight. Since Men's Health is behind the book, I decided to sign-up for their Diet Planner.
What a joke.
It looked pretty good at first, until I saw the grocery list it generated. They wanted me to buy six different kind of fruit juices. It forced me to have a look at the menus, in details. Chicken salad and roasted chicken for dinner; they oughta be kidding. Not to mention that they kept on wanting me to drink skim milk when I clearly indicated my preference for 1%. They obviously took the easy way out, and lined up food items solely based on daily requirements. I would have had to spend hours modifying the menus with substitutions to make it work for me, which hardly seemed worth it.
Another major problem is that they had me at 2500 calories a day while the book wants me right around 2000. 500 extra calories is a lot, especially when you're trying to loose weight.
The exercise programs weren't any better. They clearly didn't follow the book's recommendations.
I hope the authors come up with a book of recipes or something, the ones listed in the book are really good.
I'm getting one in 5 to 7 days.
