O'Reilly's new JSP book, JavaServer Pages, has finally been released.

Last nite's final installment of the Dunes miniseries wasn't any better. The pace picked up a bit but I still came close to falling asleep on more than one occasion.

Yesterday afternoon, while making copies at the Bellevue Library, we had our caricatures drawn by Tom Huff, the fastest pen in the world. Contrary to the girl who did the one for our wedding in Vegas, this guy is really fast (2/3 mins per) and works without any templates. I am portrayed cooking, Vicki's reading.

Computer companies specialize in giving consumers lousy products. I couldn't agree more. I would even go one step further and blame it on The Evil Empire. But then again if we keep on knowingly buy defective software, who's really to blame?
