Nowadays, I pretty much always go for what I actually need; nothing more, nothing less. Audion 2.0 is out. One of the nicest MP3 player for the Mac. The new version appears to be packed with features, including the ability to create MP3s from CDs.

My Red Hat Linux 6.2 install of Forte for Java CE 2.0 has problems with KDE 2.0.1. I haven't had the chance to do much investigating, but it all worked fine when I tried it under Gnome. It could well be related to the way I had to install KDE 2.0.
