NoUSSD 1.0.1: Prevent Remote Wipe Internationally
I've just released NoUSSD 1.0.1, an update to my Android utility that prevents malicious websites from using the recently discovered tel: URL attack and potentially remotely wipe your device.
This version features a drastically smaller footprint, and was also localized for many regions. Tip of the hat to the following people for providing translations:
- German: Matthew Langham and Frank Köhntopp.
- Spanish: Diego Doval.
- Italian: Hakim Cassimally and Peppe.
- Swedish: Gustaf Erikson.
- French: Cedric Beust and yours truly.
NoUSSD requires no special permissions and is open source. It is available for free on the Google Play Store.
