Minor Update

It never fails.

Each time you release a new or updated piece of software, within a couple days (or even a couple hours), you'll discover a problem. It will not be reported by users. You'll just stumble right onto it, which makes it even worse.

It didn't fail.

Sometimes you even get lucky, a new update is not required. I wasn't. I had to release a minor update for IP Monitor.

On November 28, 1963 President Johnson announced that Cape Canaveral would be renamed Cape Kennedy in honor of his assassinated predecessor. The name was changed back to Cape Canaveral in 1973 by a vote of residents.

On November 27, 1942 Jimi Hendrix is born in Seattle. The Jimi Hendrix Experience is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1991 and Hendrix is posthumously voted a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1992.

Updates

Nothing like a few days off to catch up.

I've finally released IP Monitor for Mac OS X and IP Monitor for Java 2.0.

Both have been ready for months, but for some reason I could never find the time to assemble the distribution packages together.

Krispy Kreme

We went to the new Issaquah Krispy Kreme over the weekend. Waited in line for about an hour to get our "ready-to-go" doughnuts.

This was my first time, I never had any of their doughnuts before.

They gave us a couple hot ones, right out of the assembly line, while we were waiting. Yummy…

I am not too wild about the assorted kind, but the glazed ones are really good. Overall they are pretty sweet, maybe a little too sweet.

Spy Games

We saw it last week and both liked it. Although we had to evacuate the theater in the middle of the movie. Apparently someone had fun with the alarm.
