by Erik C.Thauvin
headshot Erik has his finger on the pulse of the Java community. This column is his take on what is hot, and what the community is buzzing about.
Something a little different this week. I've put together a top ten list of my favorite Java bloggers. If you're not reading them already, you're missing out. Time to update your blogroll.
  • Matt Raible: Matt is very consistent and always has some great tips and tidbits.
  • Arjun Ram: Arjun is a relatively new blogger, but he gets it.
  • Diego Doval: Diego is the author of clevercatcus, and one smart cookie.
  • Carlos Perez: Carlos is a deep thinker.
  • Dominic Da Silva: Dominic has a knack for finding useful information.
  • David Czarnecki: David is the author of blojsom.
  • Cedric Beust: Cedric is another knowledgeable deep thinker.
  • Erik Hatcher: Erik is not very consistent, but when he's on, he's on.
  • Hani Suleiman: Hani is a riot.
  • Fred Grott: Ignoring the rhetoric and typos, Fred points to some great info on J2ME.
Erik is director of technology at Imacination Software, where he has spent the better part of last year creating and developing the jTalk E-Business Platform. He has close to 20 years of professional experience in hardware and software development, and maintains a lively Java blog. Erik can also be found lurking in #mobitopia.
