meThere's been some activity in the Java Evangelists clan as of late. Gosling, Day, Joy and the rest of Sun's clique are becoming more vocal.

Nothing wrong with that. But if Sun really wants to take Java to next step, they need to get some mainstream evangelists, not just geeks talking to geeks.

We really need someone with charisma, not Christina.

Apple has Steve. Microsoft has Bill. (If you've seen any of Bill's keynotes, you know what I'm talking about… he's captivating. Moreover, he makes national news on regular basis and is treated like royalty in most countries he visits.)
