Vicki just told about the King County Library System providing a free Wi-Fi hotspot in one of the local mall. We'll be there on Saturday to see X-Men United. I'll be sure to give it a try.
Allon also told me that Apple Stores generally offer hotspots too. The Bellevue Apple Store will open in May.Maybe there's more to this public Wi-Fi thing than I originally thought.
