Russ has some good instructions on Installing SpamAssassin under Red Hat.
If you have more than one mail user on your machine, I would recommend using a global Vipul's Razor configuration. As Russ mentioned, you can follow the Installation Instructions, but only perform steps 1 thru 4.
To create a global configuration, issue the following command:
razor-admin -d -create -home=/etc/razor
There is no point registering a new identity as SpamAssassin does not actually do any reporting.
I would also highly suggest setting the
debuglevel
in/etc/razor/razor-agent.conf
to0
unless you want log files to be generated for all users.
