I agree with you...asking us to pony up money for a reward program is not very rewarding.

The old program seemed to be better.

I'll probably start going to Regal instead.

I believe they still have the program that is similar to the good old AMC program.

You've got to be kidding me, what a joke. Already they require you to carry around a big cumbersome movie watcher card (why not just associate your drivers license or CC, or at least give you a borders rewards style key ring thing). Now they are going to make those cards no longer work and replace it with a new program? What a bunch of jack asses. How important to they think they are? You're a movie theater!! It's not like you're an airline where there's enough value (free flights) to put up with inane changes in your rewards program, if a movie theater jacks around with their reward program most people's reaction is going to be that you're TOTALLY UNRELIABLE and they'll want nothing to do with your rewards anymore. Idiots!!
