it's funny, the more i use Chrome (for windows), the more unstable it seems to get... crashes a lot more, can't handle sites with flash, hangs every time i close a tab... all that to say, i'm switching back to Firefox

I haven't had your problems, yet. I think I may have crashed a couples times, at the most.
At this point I'm pretty much using Chrome exclusively, except for a couple of sites that require Java, etc. That's actually quite surprising. I'm generally not the quickest at swapping software I use on a daily basis.
For some reason I fell in love with how quickly it starts, and how well it renders pages. I don't like the crappy bookmark 'implementation' (a big word in this case), and total lack of feeds (RSS, atom, etc.) support.
