Problems upgrading Skype to the latest version under Vista? Does the installer fail with an error code?

Try issuing the following from a command prompt running as administrator:

regsvr32 c:windowssystem32vbscript.dll
regsvr32 c:windowssystem32jscript.dll

It worked for me.
