We went to the Edmonds Farmers Market this morning to try The French Guys' pastries.

The pain au chocolat and croissants (hazelnut and raspberry) were quite underwhelming. Not flaky, not buttery and quite dense. Kinda like the typical American-style croissants.

We brought a brioche loaf home, so we haven't tasted it yet.
