How to indentify ECC memory modules?
You need to count the chips on the memory module (SDRAM, etc). If the memory module only has 8 chips per sides, it is UBF (not REG ECC). If it has 9 chips, it is REG or NON-REG ECC.
Generally you cannot mix UBF and (NON-)REG ECC memory modules.
