About:
JVoiceXML is an implementation of VoiceXML 2.1,
the Voice Extensible Markup Language. Its
specification can be found at
http://www.w3.org/TR/2005/CR-voicexml21-20050613/
as an extension to VoiceXML 2.0, specified at
http://www.w3.org/TR/voicexml20/. VoiceXML is
designed for creating audio dialogs that feature
synthesized speech, digitized audio, recognition
of spoken and DTMF key input, recording of spoken
input, telephony, and mixed initiative
conversations.
Release focus: Major feature enhancements
Changes:
A Java based installer was added. A Windows batch
file was added to start and stop the browser.
Directory issues in JVoiceXML.exe were fixed.
Error output was enhanced. Errors in the
interpreter are forwarded to the client. Some
minor refactorings were done. In the interpreter,
basic support was added for object, param, and
mark. More support was added for audio, menu, and
choice.
